We are Texas Hold’em players. We found other odds calculators do not help us enough while playing online, so we decided to make our own PokerGauge. PokerGauge serves as a poker assist to give you real time odds calculation in games with up to 10 players. PokerGauge will help you to make decisions much faster and more accurate with confidence, allowing you to focus more on reading opponents and practicing bluffs.
The gauge is a visually straight-forward representation of the hand strength in shape and color. We have established different “zones” on the gauge for different tactics. After a while, you will notice your own conditional reaction to the gauge too.
Key Features:
- Breakdown view of the hand analysis of both you and your opponents.
- Hand history: Stores up to 250 previous hands played. May be referenced at any time.
- Pre-flop tightness is provided to increase accuracy.
- Screen View: Landscape and portrait modes available any time during play. Dual thumb input allows for much faster entry. Single handed operation is also available.
- Multithreaded computation: Odds calculation is instantaneous; allowing you to see the results immediately after input.
- Odds Display Option: Ratio or percentage. May be changed anytime during play.
- Intelligent deck: Automatically hides at each betting round for smooth online play.
- No internet connection is required.
- Table Size: Supports 2-10 people.
Recommended for all online poker players.
PokerGuage supports iPhone and iPod Touch OS 2.2.1, 3.0 and 3.1.

this is a great review!
HI,
bought your app today and really like it a lot.
One question that I could not finally answer:
The “number of players” always referrs to the remaining players that did not fold for any given situation in a game? Right?
So I always have to check how many players are still “in” to know which gauge to look at?
Hi Thanks for using the app! You are absolutely right! “Number of players” always refers to the remaining players on the table! Enjoy and feel free to ask questions if you have more.
I recently purchased your app. Well designed, I really like it.
I do have a question regarding the “odds” screen (after clicking a gauge you are presented with the odds for various hands).
If I have a pair in the hole, should my percentage in the “You” column for a PAIR not be 100% (as I already have a pair) or am I confused?
You’re basically right. However, your hands can be better than pairs, like a set or full house. In these cases, they are not counted as pairs any more. So that when you add all possibilities together, it is 100%.
Oh, I didn’t realize those percentages add up to 100%. I was under the impression that the percentages on that screen were my odds at obtaining a particular hand.
Meaning, I thought the YOU column showed me my chances (%) of getting a Pair, 2 Pair, 3 of a kind, full house (based on my hole cards) etc.
You are right, but you have to get one of them (the worst case is high card), so they always add up to 100%, so is your opponents ( they have to get one ).
